Miami Springs Optimist - Fishing Tournament

For the past four years, the Miami Springs Optimist Club has quietly been putting on one of the best charity dolphin tournaments in South Florida. This year's event is offering more than 50,000 in cash and prizes. AtechnologySolutions was contracted to design the website for the tournament committee, giving them an online avenue to market their annual event.

Miami Jackson - Class of 57

One of our most recent project involved designing a weblog for Miami Jackson's Class of 1957 Reunion Committee. The committee needed a way to to communicate, share photos, and keep classmates up-to-date on reunion news.

Classmates can submit news articles, upload pictures to photo albums, and even communicate via a discussion board.

Developed with Ruby on Rails, ajaxed.com allows you to customize and create some really cool AJAX features without needing to write a single line of code. By using the free service, you can create your own "AJAX Keyword Suggest List", a feature that will offer suggested terms, almost instantly, as a user types into an input box. You can also fully customize (e.g. background color, width, highlight color, font-size, etc...) your "Keyword Suggest" list to seamlessly integrate it into your site or application. Very impressive!

Officially announced in March 2005, a new free community-based site has been launched for the residents of South Florida - with Design and Development done by AtechnologySolutions.

The site was built as a service to the community and is 100% free-to-use. Residents can post listings, learn about local artists and events, and more importantly, promote the lives, businesses and interests of the community.

As for the site design itself, it’s intent is to be clean and focused around the content. The site was developed using a flavor of the latest web technologies such as RUBY, AJAX, and XMLHTTPREQUEST. Leveraging these new tools allowed us to develop an amazingly fast, user-friendly site.

Miami Jackson Alumni - Class of 63

Recent work involved designing a feature packed weblog for Miami Jackson's Class of 1963. The Re-union committee needed a way to to communicate, share photos, and keep classmates up-to-date on reunion news.

Classmates can submit news articles, update their personal contact information, upload pictures to photo albums, participate in re-union discussions, and even vote on event suggestions and ideas.

City of Virginia Gardens - Recreation Department

The Village of Virginia Gardens recently commisioned us to establish a web presence for their Recreation Department. We were asked to develop a website to organize and promote their annual tournaments and top fundraising activities that are held throughout the year.

The website features a powerful backend tool that allows the site owner to add/delete and maintain hundreds of photos on the site. There is also a fun feature that allows visitors to control the look and feel of the site. This site was designed with strict adherence to web standards using XHTML and CSS to promote accessibility.
